Comedy Central often have different sponsors run ads during the prime time of Colbert Report. Instead of just regular commercial provided by the sponsors, Comedy Central will come up with scripts that sells the product in a more playful way to fit Comedy Central brand better. In my case, I get to work with the writers to help bring the script alive by adding some visual humors. Since this is often a one designer only project with quick turn around time. We usually stick to compositing visual with stock images instead of designing visual from scratch.
